Panelists: How can we utilize the benefits of digitalization in our value chain and still comply with regulatory requirements of the industry?
Thomas Bachofner is CEO of Swisscom Health, which is a 100% subsidiary of Swisscom. He joined Swisscom in 2010 as Head of Strategy for the Small and Medium Business division. He oversaw the creation of the digitization strategy, which he then successfully rolled out as Head of Product Management and Marketing. Before joining Swisscom, he held various management positions at IBM and worked as a consultant at Accenture. Thomas Bachofner holds Masters degrees in Economics and Political Science.
Stefan Meierhans was born in 1968 in Altstaetten in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. He studied law at the Universities of Basel, Oslo and Uppsala and graduated in 1998 with a Doctorate from the University of Basel. He worked for six years for the Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP) and then as lead LCA (Law & Corporate Affairs) at Microsoft Switzerland The Federal Council appointed him to be National Price Supervisor starting 1 October 2008.
Mike Rynerson has been CEO of Dental Wings for almost four years, during which time the company has almost tripled its revenue and profit. Previously, he spent five years at Straumann in PM, Business Development & Licensing, Intraoral Scanning Distribution, and as Head of Straumann’s ‘Dental Service Group’ and Executive Liaison to Dental Wings. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the MIT, and an MBA from the Olin School of Business.
Heinz Sommer, chairman and founder of companytransfer AG Switzerland, has over twenty years of professional experience in various roles at national and international life science companies, along with solid know-how in building and growing companies, subsidiaries, brands and organizations. As a professional interim manager, he also has acquired many years in-depth experience in line management, project management and change management, as well as with M&A transactions.
Max Schoenholzer, CEO of the Sanitas Group, has worked for over 20 years in the insurance industry. Over a period of 14 years he held various managerial positions within the Zurich Insurance Group in Switzerland and the Netherlands, the last four years as Chief Claims Officer for Zurich Switzerland. Prior to that that he worked for McKinsey & Company in Zurich and Chicago. Max Schoenholzer has a degree in physics from ETH Zurich and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is married and has three children.
