Marco Gadola returned to Straumann as CEO in 2013, having worked at the company between 2006 and 2008 as CFO and Executive VP Operations. In the intervening period he worked for the Panalpina Group, first as CFO and from 2012 onwards as CEO of Panalpina Asia/Pacific. Before joining Straumann in 2006, he worked for five years at Hero, an internationally active Swiss foodstuffs company, also as CFO and as head of IT & Operations. Prior to that, Marco Gadola worked for Hilti for nine years in various positions in sales and management and in a number of different regions.
Andy Habermacher grew up in England and has lived in Switzerland for 28 years. He is a trained language teacher (of English as a foreign language). For the past 20 years he has worked on in-house training programmes and during this time trained as a communication trainer, interpersonal trainer and executive coach. Most recently he has specialised in neuroscience for managers and coaching. Along with co-authors Prof. Theo Peters and Argang Ghadiri, Andy Habermacher has published the book “Neuroleadership” with Springer Publishing.
Dr. Christoph Kumpf
Christoph Kumpf is Managing Director at Comparatio Health GmbH. He was born in Kassel in 1960, trained in banking and has a doctorate in economic science. He gained management experience in a variety of managerial positions both in Germany and abroad and has been active in the health field for the past 20 years. In 2007 he assumed his current position at Comparatio Health GmbH, the service and purchasing company for university clinics and maximum-care hospitals in Germany.
Daniel Odermatt has been a Managing Partner at Leancom GmbH for the past three years, supporting clients in optimising processes by applying lean management methods, primarily in production, assembly, logistics and administration. Lean management has been a primary focus of his work for over 12 years. He is also a lecturer at the technical professional college Höhere Fachschule für Technik Mittelland and at the Swissmem management school.
Dr. Ralf C. Schlaepfer
In the last 25 years Ralf Schlaepfer has advised many internationally renowned companies on their corporate strategy, on organic and inorganic growth and how to innovate their business. He has acquired experience working with global leading companies defining Multi-Channel and new Service strategies leading from push to pull. Ralf Schlaepfer is President of the Swiss American Leaders Association, a member of the advisory board of the Chinese Entrepreneurs Club Green Company Program and member of the board of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce, heading their strategy committee.
